I would like to know which retracts you prefer for this model and why.

The robarts as recommended for this model work well. Alternatively the spring airs are a bit easier to mount in this model, and hold up quite well.

For air driven retracts, I like the Spring-Airs. I like the feature that if you run low or out of air pressure (leak or forget to fill tank, ect) the gear retract automaticly preventing a gear up landing. They are also very tough. I would recommend a set of 3/16 gear for that plane no matter whose you use. Chic

The Robart units are very weak. Would agree with others about Spring airs or even CJ units.

Are the Century Jet stronger than Robarts?
