Wud 2 cars running on the same frequency (fx channel 1, 26.995 mhz) but respectively AM and FM interfer with
each other's radio equipment?

Anybody knows if Sanwa/Airtronics make other 27mhz FM crystal set apart from ch 1-6 ??

AM and FM on the same channel will interfere.

If you want to get 27 mhz frequiencies that isn't the channel 1-6 you have to be aware that the frequency has to be legal.

Hvilke klasser kører I i jeres klub og hvor mange kører de forskellige klasser?

Var det nemt at få et nyt sted at lave bane efter I havde haft klager ved den gamle? Og er det kommunal jord I laver det på?

Thanks, I am fed up with this frequency-circus, so I have decided to go for a DSS system now. The Nomadio Sensor Radio looks nice Think I mite go for that.

I`d recommend going with a Spektrum DX3 . I have 2 running 6 cars and have had great success .

Since you changed your mind, then you lost the oppertunity to get the only 3 channel radio on the market, that was getting a FREE upgrade to 4 channels
Only thing needed is a software/firmware upgrade.

They also changed it from std. DSS to Frequenzy Hopping DSS, in order to legally use a higher output power on the system, which insures greater range and even less sensitivity to interferrence.

You also get the Telemetrics included in the Radio, which is an expensive add-on on the Spektrum systems.

Only "problem" for a Danish user of the Nomad Sensor system is that the CE aproval wasn't totally ready, the last time I checked.
You need a CE approved system, to use a 2.4Ghz system for racing under DABU rules.

I don't know if the Spektrum DX3 is CE Marked either.

Whatch out for the http://www.nomadio.net Black Friday announcement

Channel 1 to 6 for 27Mhz is the only legal channels for 27Mhz RC in Denmark.

You CAN get crystals for at least 40 other channels, they just aren't legal, as they are used for Walkie Talkie's.

That is not true.

If you look in the rules from DASU chapter 74.1002 it says that there are 6 27mhz channels and only 3 40mhz channels that are dedicated to r/c, but apart from that there are 29 27mhz channels and 19 40mhz channels that are allowed on a year-long basis.

That's great...for those who want to play with their radiosystem rather than racing their car on the track
But that's just my opinion and who am I?

No it is for people who want to be on the track rather then waiting for a channle to open up or be in the pits fixing their car after a run away. But who am I.

Smashed Toad. You're right. That is the main point. I can't wait to get my Spektrum.

Anyway to get back to the issue:
We made a test the other day at the track and indeed same frequencies AM/FM is interfering with each other. The operator of the FM system will not notice any difference, but
the guy with AM equipment will see his car being "taken over" by the FM transmitter.
