If you do some searching you will find just about everyone who has actually driven the new Jammin buggy to say the same thing... From what I can tell its about the best going right now. Bit pricy but its well worth it for a truggy of this caliber. I hear good things about the Jammin but it is still an Ofna.

I think alot of the bad press about Ofna quality comes from the fact their stuff is manufactured overseas. Jammin stuff is made here in the US.. I plan on getting myself the Jammin buggy. Now that I made that last statement my truck will snap in half the first time out, knowing my luck :P

they both have carbon fiber though and they both seem sweet but is the jammin worth the extra 200

From all the reviews and lenght of the the truggy vs others. It is to me. It has 99% of the hop ups all ready on it. Comes with the clutches and all that good stuff as well. SO all you have to do is the motor,pipe,radio,servos, and a reciver I think thats it.

but the lightning comes already put together with a tuned pipe it is a pretty good deal but i love that jammin but it is expensive

I can careless if the lsp was rtr with a m8. I would pick the jammin simply becuase of all the positive reviews I have read. I have read a couple of bad revies on the lsp and I did a month or 2 researching the trucks. My bro had the lsp and it did almost exaclty the same thing as other people who had the lsp. If you have the money why dont you get both set them up with the same gear and see what one you like better. Then sell the one you dont.

The LHS had the LSP R in stock, and the CRT on order. The LSP looked like a nice truggy, but I waited for the CRT. The CRT is what I bought. The shocks and shock towers look better to me. I also don't care for aluminum arms, but that's a personal preference. I can't remember if the steering and brakes are supported by bearings on the LSP, but they are on the CRT. The CRT was $150 more, but worth the extra, IMO.

I don't know. The Jammin shocks are not cheap, either.

I have them both , the lsp and the crt. I have had my lsp since the 1st one hit my lhs and have put alot of time into my setup . I have only had my crt for 2 weeks and am still chasing the setup , but My lap times are already better with the Jammin. I have had the jammin buggy ( x1cr)for a few months and can say without hesitation that the quality of the parts far exceeds the lightning. I would STRONGLY suggest the Jammin if you have a tight budget . It has ALL the good parts in the box. The reason the tuned pipe shouldn't be a deciding issue is that no tuned pipe works correctly with all motors. I have a good assortment of pipes I have tried on diferent engines and some don't work well together. You have to get the right pipe for the motor you are going to run.

completely agree and in fact, was pleasantly surprised multiple times during the build process with the design and engineering of the Jammin X1-CRT kit! Very, very high quality throughout. The ONLY exception was the print quality of the instructions. The truck is a dream to drive and is already much, much faster than my Revo's, Mayhem ST or LST!

The response about Ofna being made overseas, but Jammin being made in the US is totally wrong. Hong Nor cars that Ofna sells, which are the 9.5, LX/MBX series, Titan, also include the X1 and the CRT. They may say Jammin on them, but they are still made by Hong Nor in Taiwan. The difference is Jammin Jay had input on how these things were made. Jammin Jay had to approach the 9.5 series differently, putting out hopups that might make it actually perform. The Jammin line was done the right way, not in the USA however. Ho Bao cars that Ofna sells are the Hyper series, along with the old Dom and MP. Dont bother arguing or correcting me, this is not just rumor or forum stuff, this is fact. :D
