Here is an upgrade I've been looking forward to...

Functional and better looking IMHO.

I'll post the results when it arrives. I may not use all the elements in the end depending on any weight issues that may arrise from the whole kit adding 45 grams. I don't think it will be to big an issue though.

The ad mentions "low profile" though I can't see for sure from the pictures. If the kits lowers the Blade CP any, the stock tail will be a problem because its already very close to the ground.

I have not done the GWS DD tail mod yet but this could be the right oppertunity. the smaller tail blade will fit the bill. this is the DD upgrade I'm considering

GWS Direct Drive Tail Rotor and fittings
GWS Tail Bracket
GWS EDP50H Motor
GWS Heat Sink
Spare GWS EP4530 Rotor blade.

We will see I guess...

Now when you say 1.875" and 2" are you saying you took that much OFF of the LG? I measured mine and there 3" total. That means you only have 1" on the front.
Is that right?

Just modified my LG because I had to. Crash broke one of the fronts off right at the battery holder. Luckily, that was the perfect length for the front so I cut down the other front and made the rear just a little longer.

While I had the LG off I rerouted my antenna. Drilled small holes in the front and rear of the skid and routed it in the groove on the bottom.

yeah sorry those measurements seem so precise because they are in no way that.....just ballpark and yes it was prolly less.
I would just say work with w/e battery you have and go as low as poss. for that "ready to rocket" look lol

back to the original post subject of upgraded landing gear for blade cp, wouldent you need to switch the frame to a honey bee main frame as a honey bee uses a screw to mount the landing gear.
