Here it is done. Overall I'm happy....$24 including shipping...rained today but I'll see if I can get some vidio of it flying when things clear.

I got what I was expecting.....and its an improvement I think.

I really like the new CNC swash. looks great but I don't think there is alot of improvement in cyclic response. It's still pretty tight on the ball links, maybe when things break in a bit...

I obviously did not get the blade specific set...lol...I'm considering painting the white kit parts either black or silver. Maybe after a few flights....

Furura,

I ordered my LG today! That looks awesome I have a question about balance. It looks like you now have to locate the battery further back and below the main gear. So how does it balance out?

Futura you should really try the Brushless upgrade from MRRC-CAM, the very small board he makes will add little weight and with the new power of a Himax 2015-4200 motor it really has a lot more rotor RPM and it can handle the additional weight all of these upgrades we put on.

....in short, my battery needs to be moved forward. I'm tail heavy as far as CG goes. When the battery is up against the front lg brace its perfect.

All,

I missed a critical part of the install (failed to mention it)....sorry...

Anyhoo.....

The front LG brace that needed drilling also needs some trimming on the inside where it slide up and around the orig. BCP frame. I used a dremel but exacto would work too.

You will see what I mean when you try to mount it up. I trimmed about 1.5 mm from both inside edges.

I totally forgot doing that....Never was much good at building software help files and such ...don't know why I thought this would be different.

Its no big deal or show stopper...I just hate that I missed it.

BTW - I now have two CC10 esc's and just can't make up my mind on the motors. I'm leaning towards a 2015 4100 Himax...but Feigao FM1308434S looks good and economical, Feigao Brushless Tail Motor T5 (Long can) has it for the tail.

Its not an emergency cause it's flying really nice and smooth right now. My real driver is a keen desire to see a jet ranger fuselage on it. I'll definitely need a kickin BL setup if I add another 8 - 9 oz's (255 grams). The new LG will look perfect on a jet ranger though....IMO.
