i have a post in general rc mostly asking about truggies. sorry if i'm breaking the rules here. i basically like the mayhem st because of two reasons
1- its the only one i've seen up close and i loved it.
2- radio system

my question would be is there any reason not to choose this truck over others on the market? i'm looking for a basher and maybe future racer since my dad is planning on building a track at his house. racing will be with just family and friends i supose. would i be choosing an inferior truck picking this one over others mostly because of the radio? if so how inferior. keep in mind i'm not competing with experienced racers with loads of money into their vehicals. i just really need guidence in choosing which vehical i will purchase before i start to sell off my others to buy one.

for your use it should be a good truck and the DSM radio is a plus.

On the contrary it handles great just not with the stock tires. Not heavy either just under 9lb once you get rid of the stocker tires.

i went to the lhs and looked at what they had out. out of the truggy types they only had the gs storm and mayhem. that gs is a long ways from being equal to the mayhem. wow, after actually looking things over, i don't know how a better truck could be produced. i don't know how it drives, but an employee was telling me about a customer that was bragging about one that he seen just killing everything else it was running against.

Yo if your going to just goof off with some friends but want something decent then the mayhem st would be a good truck because it is one of the best rtr truggy out there the only other truggy that is rtr that I could suggest is a hot bodies.I don`t think that the hot bodies is better than the mayhem in the rtr form but if you buy the hot bodies pro you could smoke your friends for sure and if you wanted to race you would be competitive. And as far as the guy at the lhs he`s probably bsing you.We got a few mayhem at are track And they always get burned.I got a lst but it is far from stock and I haven`t been beat by a mayhem yet.The only truck that does out run me is the freaking jammin.I smoke almost anything in the straights but the jammin gets me in the turns

I ;m trying to decide too , i cant decide between the LST 2 or The Mayhem ST , The mayhem st looks to be a nice design and good value . But the LST2 is going to be awesome .

Does anyone know what would be more durable for bashing ? the MAYHEM ST looks like a more simple design and easy to fix . Are truggy;s tougher them MT;s ?

IMO - truggy = racing ... big monster trucks = fun bashing and can be used to race....
