It was very windy and I probably should have went home but I got to fly it twice. So far from the little I flew it I like the CG right where it is. The rudder authority is the best of any airplane I have flown which came to me as a surprise because the rudder is not as big as my 330's rudder yet is definetely stonger .With only two 8611a's, it will do an extremely thight knive edge loop. The roll rate is faster with only 32 degrees of deflection than on my 330 with 42 degrees, from what I can tell so far the tapered ailerons are better. The snaps are awesome, I found my self under snapping a lot. Knive edge coupling require zero aileron mix and will need very little up elevator mix, in fact it could be flown as is. The biggest surprise was probably how light it feels, it felt like it was ten pounds lighter than my 330.
I can't wait to fly it again on a calm day to see it's full potential. I will try to do a video next time.

Yep, definately little too windy for a test flight, but your determination overcame the stink'n wind. . Thanks for the stick time. Definately a great plane. Still can't believe the rudder authority, even on such a wind day. I hope my Yak stops like that on the snaps.
Best of luck with the new 260!............Mark

Hey Ryan, have things calmed down at your field? The neighbors aren't complaining anymore? We should get together at your field some day in the spring here an Imac practice day.

Things are pretty good at the Sacramento field. Not much complaining anymore. We do have "boundries" we have to fly within, but its no problem even wtih flying 40% airplanes to stay within it. There are a bunch flying 50cc planes now at sacramento. About 5 guys at the field today, all flying giant scale. sounds good about having an IMAC practice day at the field. let me know ryan

I dont know if a contest could go on or not at the field. When i fly imac, i cant fly out as far as i want. i have to keep it in a little bit. you would have to check out the flying zone and talk to some of the guys at sacramento. it could happen maybe. i can ask joe and them.
