Haven’t seen any reviews of the AFPD Add-On Vol 1 yet so thought I would start my own. I bought it mainly for the additional photo-realistic sceneries and I wasn't disappointed. There are 2 new flying fields, one airport runway and an indoor gymnasium. I was especially impressed with the 2 flying fields, lovely crisp photos, vibrant colours and excellent collision mapping. One of these shows a crack in the tarmac of the runway which has been mapped and hence depending on the speed you hit it on take-off your plane will bounce - sweet!!. Airport scenery nice but unfortunately the photos were taken on a slightly hazy day and heading down the runway puts you into the sun. The Lear jet I was flying looked right at home in these surroundings though. Indoor gymnasium also nice clear photos - collision mapping also looked pretty good as my son bounced his shock flyer off anything and everything. As far as the new aircraft there is a magnificent constellation with a wonderful throaty 4 engined growl.

So was it worth 24 Euros - I think so!

Regards

Busta

P.S. What is the preferred way of capturing screenshots. These were done by hitting Ctrl PrintScreen and pasting into paintbrush. A very hit and mostly miss method!

To take a screenshot press F11, then go to "My Computer" > "Local Disk" > "Program Files" > "IPACS" > "Aerofly Professional Deluxe" > "Screenshots" and it should be there !

Is there a site or tutorial that can explain the foto realistic lingo to me?

I don't understand the 3d computer terminology, or how one type differs from another?

Thanks_bob

all i meant was that some of the sceneries are foto realistic, meaning, they look realistic, like fotos, the other ones are hand drawn, in other words are sort of cartoony, hope look at the pics above, they look like fotos, those are foto realistic sceneries

Hope you understand, and that taht was the question
