Status: offline 		hello to all aerofly delux users i have a small request, i want to fly the hanger 9 46% ultimate in aerofly professional, but the thing is, i downloaded the zip file, but cant open it , it says that AFPD not installed, i have aerofly pro, the programe will run only on AFPD, soo all the usewrs of AFPD i want all the files of this planes so i can enjoy it in aerofly pro, i know how to make an AFPD plane fly in aerofly pro, just change the version no. thats it. please please mail me all the files of this airplane my email add is harrysuple@yahoo.com

Try the above link. They have two large ultimates, one in red, white and blue, and the other in Chip Hyde colors, basically the same airplane. They fly like the Hanger 9 Ultimate, virtually the same size.

Here is how its done. I regularly fly planes made for AFPD in AFP.

There are two different ways to DL planes for AFPD.

1) they come as a .exe file. These need to be extracted with a program like WinRAR which can be downloaded for free, just Google it.

2) They are in a zip file which is simply unzipped.

Once you have done either of those open the folder and find the .tmd file of the aircraft you just DLed. Right click it and open with Microsoft Word. At the top of the 1st page you will see the folloing lines;

// aerofly professional --------------------------------------------------------
//
// file: su31b.tmd
// version: 1.6.0 these numbers may differ from plane to plane
//
// type: 17also may differ
// lock: 0
//
// -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The two lines that I have said may differ need to be changed for the plane to work in AFP.

I change the lines to;



// aerofly professional --------------------------------------------------------
//
// file: su31b.tmd
// version: 1.2.0
//
// type: 1
// lock: 0
//
// -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This should now work.

Now you need to make sure the plane uses a sound file you have availale.

Press Ctrl+F to bring up the find option. Search for sound.

You will see lines a follows;

Sound0File = "g15-3000"
Sound1File = "g15-5000"
Sound2File = "g15-10000"
Sound0RPM = 3008.2
Sound1RPM = 5270.4
Sound2RPM = 10202.7
Sound01RPM = 4000
Sound12RPM = 7000
cd ../

The first 3 lines are the sound file used. Make sure the file listed is in the sound folder.

If not change it to one you do have.

Once you have made these changes it should work.

I do find sometimes AFPD planes do not have a working skin and appear as all white. They still fly the same just all white.
