Hey don't be so hard on them MAAC board, heck, they are still committed still paying $16,000 so 10 guys can fly at FAI Worlds.

As a FAI rated skunk shooter, shaven skunks do not look like pigs even in the dark, can't those SW zone guys get anything right.

Do you remember just a while ago propwron was chuckies biggest fan, man how times change.

Hey Hey Hey, I had a good friend once, hell of a skunky guy. What does this have to do with putting on an event

From what I have read, I bet some of you are glad skunks can't fly.

Personally, I could care less either way on this one as the results will do no favours to the hobby as a whole, but having dealt with the players on boths sides, a word of friendly advice would be to do some history work before you choose up sides. There is considerably more ice beneath the surface than you see on this forum.

for history work, try reading the Titanic. Lots of ice beneath the surface, and an arrogant captain driving the ship.

...while your at it. Give Martin a call and have him explain how to fly another country's flag to avoid Canadian Taxes.

It looks like Martin should phone them to get advice on finding loopholes. I think Dennis's sum up is bang on.

they sure do. All you have to do is open your eyes and smell the coffee.

Iam beginning to see what the problem is, choosing of sides. I want, you want, they want. To bad people just can't get along.

think about what is happening here. a group of people have gotten together and are putting on an event at their own expence and we beat the hell out of them. There are some bitter people in this world

Hey if this works great, if it doesn't I don't really care cause it didn't cost me anything, so what is the problem, really

There is apparently no problem. The 2005 NATS organizers need only to provide a proper accounting of last year's NATS and turn over the previously disclosed MAAC profits from the event and all will be good. Seems pretty simple. No need to sneak around on web forums pretending to be somebody in order to gain sympathy for self-proclaimed martyrs.

...I can't believe I'm using "martyrs" in a toy airplane forum. lol

Yep I was heading to the hobby shop with someone and he commented how these guys were like watching the old Mob movies. You know the one where the FBI corners the boss and his underlings as they are leaving the restaurant. The FBI confronts the mob boss and he replies "Ya ain't got nothing on me copper" Then one of the dumb underlings (pick on any one) blurts out !"Becha they haven't looked at cousin Vinny's yet!!" Well I darn near lost my mouth full of coffee all over the inside of the van.

I've already received that, tax free, for my personal charm alone.
