my SUT bent steering plates (racks) basically every time i jumped it... there extremely hard on the steering plates.. thats why i sold it and decided to make a mutant maxx..

If you double up the steering plates you shouldnt have a problem running the avle extenders, or go to the pro version which is made from 7075 not 6061.

Only seen this problem with the RTR SUT which has a blue aluminum steering ackerman plate. The pro uses a 7075 steering plate which is much more durable. I run two of the Pro steering ackerman plates doubled on my SUT Pro per GS Racing.

This is what I did to eliminate the hub extenders because I did not like them. Run the GS Buggy Pro 17mm wheel hexes and then run the Ofna Dominator wheels which are also 17mm. This combination will give the same width as stock SUT with the hub extenders. I ran this set-up for over 5 gallons of fuel without any trouble.
