An OS .30 too powerful for a CRT? Hahaha....that's funny

It will bolt right in, however from what I've seen in person, the OS .30's powerband isn't very well suited for a singlespeed application and isn't a very good match for a Truggy. The OS .30's seem to work better in vehicles with a transmission that allows the engine to stay closer to it's powerband and peak HP.

ill agree to i think all those 30-32 mills are intended for 2 speed trannys. plus i have yet to see a big .30-.32 last very long thease mills have a very thin sleeve. if i were you id save a little more money and get a rex/nova rossi 28 8 port for the crt. thats what i have on order for my crt.

Well, I'm currently running a Rex 528XR for any big race, but usually run a Novarossi P5 .21 which is pleanty of power. Engine choice primarily depends on two things: the track and your competetion. For small, tight tracks, a good .21 should be more then enough. For larger tracks, a .28 might work out better as you can gear up and run a lerger clutch bell without sacrificing bottom end.

Best thing is to go to your local track during a club race and see what your competetion is using.

Thanks all, Crtdriver for the moment in france there is no competition but the market of truggy is cery little, but i think next year the number of sale will increase.

So for conlude one .21, it's good solution. What do you think of OS 21 VZB V-Spec ?

I have a V Spec in my CR buggy. Plenty of power to run with anything. I got one for my CRT, also. Not broken in yet. Too much snow. A friend has a CRT with V Spec. He just TQ'd, and won an indoor race last weekend.

The V-Spec is an awesome engine. Just be careful of the rear bearings, as they've been know to go out fairly quickly. Aside from that, which is not to terribly common (and can be fixed by using a Boca or Novarossi bearing), the V-Spec puts out awesome power and is the same engine that Jammin team driver Chad Bradley used to win the '05 RC Pro finals last month.

Nope. He switched to a full backed Jammin driver in November.
