That's crazy!

I'm gotten as far as I can with my US-60. Now I need to save up the $$ for the OS-75 before I can finish her up.

If someone would reintroduce the US1000, and the price was reasonable, I'd be incline to buy a couple myself. I just love them.

Yeaaaa!!!!!!!

TH has posted a price reduction of 10 bucks and moved up the estimated arrival date to late June for the US 60. RC Ken, you are absolutely right, the manufacturers must follow these forums very closely!!

They told us personally that they do. And not just Great Planes - any manufacturer worth his salt is watching what RCU members have to say

When Mike and I attended Toledo this year we had reps from the big companies "quote" things that both of us had said here on RCU!!!! Just goes to show you that they do watch RCU VERY closely!!!!

Hey guys I have just put an Ultra Sport 1000 Kit on ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&item=260257061636

It is a new in the box kit. I’m selling it for the family of a club member that passed away. Also I have a ultra sport 60 size the is all framed up with retracts in it. The tail is almost covered. I do not have the canopy, plans or the instructions but it is ready to finish covering. I would like to sale it locally as shipping would be a bear.

From what I saw they moved the release date up again to early July, and bumped the price up $20 to a total of $30 since they had any kits in stock.

Will they ever get in?

A new and limited run of the Ultra Sport .60 is now being offered by Tower Hobbies for $139. I ordered mine yesterday, 07-15-08. Better not wait. It's my second one of these models. My first was flown for nearly 10 years and then I sold it at a swap meet. I missed it so much I had to have another. They're that good!

My LHS has an original US40 or 60 (I'm not sure which) on the shelf. If anyone is interested in the original for nostalgia reasons I can head over and find out which it is, price, etc. Email if needed, mtvug8r@gmail.com. He may be willing to mail it.
