I am new to gas engines, hence, all of these stupid questions. But, I do appreciate the help.

1. Can the walbro carb. on a G38 be turned 180 degrees so that the linkage and adjustments face to the back instead of the front.

2. Is the black wire on the front of the coil, the one that I tap into to run a kill switch to ground.

Thanks for the help.

I don't think the carb will work at 180 degree change. The Horizon folks have an adapter out for the Zenoahs that will angle the carb so the throttle is a straight shot. I just got one for my G23, G45 and G62 and the G38 should be available very soon. This should fix the linkage problem.

As for the kill switch it is the small wire that the switch is attached to.

Hope this helps.

You can turn the carb any way you want to..You will have to make a new carb insulator block to get the crankcas pulse into the back of the carb to pump the fuel..You can drill a small hole in the transfer port, and install a small pressure tap..Tap another hole in the back of the carb, in the plate held on by one screw..There are two cast bosses in the plate, either one will work..Put a pressure tap in the plate and connect the two with a short piece of tubing..Been doing this for 15 years on my ignition conversions...
