Electric-

Less weight
More torque
less tuning
dont have to worry about noise
cheaper parts
and it wont mess up your motor like drifting in a nitro could
no overheating like a nitro engine.
with the right battery pack it can get up to like 45 min runtimes.

Nitro

Faster
Noisy (can be a plus too!)
can run all day
more tuning (again a plus?!)

I prefer nitro but electric makes life a whole lot simpler.

for drifting - electric

low traction, and over revving can be quite harmful to a nitro engine.

True, granted, but the guy is just getting started. Plus batteries need recharging between runs, whereas with GP you just put more gas in to run longer.

'Out of the box' nitro is generally faster init? You make it sound as tho' there are no up sides of nitro man. Don't mean to stir up trouble or anything so don't flame me man.

nah nah man..... its coo but nitros are faster out of the box. well.. some cars dont come with esc or motor and its your choice which can make it faster then a nitro.

people usually buy more batts so one ones done switch and recharge. in the long run save you more money.

hey i may be wrong. i hate stirring up trouble to lol

Nitros require much more maintainance and are much more expensive. In the long run, they're pricy beasts.

electric

tough to control the torque on a nitro engine since it has to go through a clutch. with electric you have control throughout the range.
