Elmshoot, could you tell us how you burned up your Webra? Was it the fuel you were using, or too lean of setting, or what carb it had? Maybe just a guess would be good?

Just interested as to what happened to have this occur....

Guys, contact Paul at Paul's Model Supply in Fargo, ND, I have gotten some older parts from him including a belt for my Webra T4 15cc fourstroke. www.paulsmodelsupply.com

I think my Webra did the same thing. Got it used from the well known auction site. Turned out it was a Metric version... external appearance pretty much the same as USA version, 8mm crankshaft, beefier conrod, different design crankcase (a relieved area to allow the larger conrod clearance, different engine mounting pattern), don't know about the bearings. Had flown this engine maybe 50-60 times, most recently in the Dirty Birdy ARF. That flight ended early with a sudden engine failure from full throttle to dead (engine was not running too lean). Dead stick landing was successful. The engine appeared to have virtually no compression. It could not be restarted. Took it home, looked at it the next day, and even cold, virtually no compression. I don't know if this is a basket case or if a new piston ring would restore compression. Any thoughts?
