    Well,
First off thanks to Mr Bill for getting the facts straight. Next time I will actually check first before jumping the gun as I did here. We all thank you. I sent Mr Urbansub96 a message that he was wrong. I already ordered the Traxxis shoes from tower hobbies, though it hasnt been sent out, when i called and talked to there CS Person the order was already invoiced. She said when they come in I can just return them which I will do to get my refund. SO YES, Im out 3 buck for shipping. Tomorrow I will order the kit that Mr Bill is talking about. GOOOOOOOOO Mr Bill. Thanks again for the research.

YW Luk. It's no problem, I'm just so lucky to have such a knowledgable RC guy near me. And he has so much in stock. If you saw how much he has..he has just about everything for Trucks, Cars, Planes, and Helicopters and its a small place! Amazing thing is he knows where everything is. I guess that's like these 2 desks, that are under all this stuff, that I sit at. LOL.

Thanks spacoli, The point I was trying to make here is not, under load or not under load, but the TRAXXAS motor turns higher RPMs and the clutch shoe spring should be plenty strong enough! Are you having any problems with your WarHead ThunderbirdJunkie or any of your Monster Trucks?

Don't have a Warhead yet, only problem I'm having with my Revo is getting it outta here soon enough so I have room for another MT

I've got my spare 1/8 buggy clutch setup and a few other things waiting for the Warhead when it gets here

    How's it going?
today i ran my warhead and it didnt run too well... alot of flooding, it wouldent idle well, wouldent shift to 2nd. this is the 3rd time i run it. the first time i ran it ( break in), it ran great. 2nd run something went wrong ( i checked electronics, and nothing was off) it took off full speed and thankfully rolled on its back. today it didnt take off on it own, and i had those problems... I'm so aggravated i just want to take it to the hobby shop and let them fix it, but thats not my style. can anyone give me hints where i can fix it on my own? I got so fed up i contemplated selling the truck, but i really love it when it runs!. Thanks,
    Corey

I don't think I'd give up my REVO for a WarHead. I KNOW I wouldn't give up my REVO for a WarHead.

clegen3, How are your batteries? Where is your throttle trim set? Were you pulling on the throttle when you started it? Have you got the carb adjusted right (too rich or lean). Don't worry about it shifting, you haven't come close to breaking it in yet. Sounds like you've got a lot of tuning that needs to be done. If you don't know how, take it to your LHS or somebody that knows how. Almost impossible to do in a forum.

Bill allot of good info in that post, thanks. It was me with the leaky exhaust gasket, so that info helped.

My son and I were out running today and he broke the bulkhead and the darn servo saver again.
I know it's the cold weather (32), it has to be. Well when I got parts, I ordered a front bulkhead just incase, but stupid me I only got one servo saver. Wouldn't you know it was the same side (none saver side). It broke right before the screw hole that attaches the drag link. I'ts under repair as I'm waiting for the jb weld to set.

Does anyone have the none servo saver side part that's good? I will swap you for the saver side if that's the side you broke. Doesn't hurt to ask. Would be that much $ to slip into a envelope and send out.

Truck run good today, I have it shifting good, but will fine tune it when I have time, my son wanted to play.

Yes I do ynot. Got pics of them in my profile too. I'll have to get them all together with my 2 sons and their REVOs and pose for a pic if we get a sunny day this week. I'll put it on my web site. I wouldn't sell any of my stuff again. A long time ago I had a drinking problem and used to sell all my good stuff, but that was a longggg time ago, the hard times are gone, it's all gravy now Playtime for Bill. I earned it. Sorry about getting personal but in case you haven't figured it from some of my past posts, that's me.

EDIT: There's a very good chance there will be a Nitro Vee or a Villian EX in My Garage in the Spring. I'd like to have one of those Miss Budwisers but $1200 (who knows...LOL)
