has anybody ever put a bigger fuel tank on the warhead? i go threw the fuel real quick and my engine is not running rich it's running right where it needs to be, it's just a pain to refill when everybody is getting so much longer run times then i. other then that the warhead is running great. i have O problems. the FOC realy takes all the trouble out of the trans problem and the racing steering kit makes this truck turn on a dime. i just found out that this truck loves to jump up curbs and i don't mean the small ones. it's nice working the night shift when there are no boss around.

You can put in the original tank which is larger. DTXC7815
    It holds more fuel.

I need some help! I just bought my second EVO from Ebay/ I'm sure I'll have questions on this one but this is about my first one. I was making a speed run on the street last week and tried to make a quick turn around power slide, bad idea, it looked like that NASCAR crash a few weeks ago with cartwheels and numerous rolls ending upside down. It was like you read about, only broke the front shock tower. Today I decided to replace the shock tower and install the steering race kit. I replaced the new front knuckles and am ready to rotate the draglink but when I tried to connect the new ball ends, inserts and screws and nut, the screws not long enough to fit thru the new knuckle to install the nylon nut. It's probably me but what am I missing here? Thanks if anyone has an answer.

Did you by chance swap the screw from the drag link to the steering arm end. I think you should have to different length screws. Did any new screws come in the race steering kit.

The screw I took out was 12mm, From what I see on the parts list and the scews supplied in the kit are 15mm. I installed all the parts from the liy but even though the new screws are longer they are short I assume that with this conversion you eliminate the metal arm on the original design because it dosn't show it in the directions. I'm frustrated!

Sorry for the misspelling lyi should be kit. That's probably wrong too. I thought this would be a quick upgrade but right now my truck is down and I was hoping on running it Sunday.

what do you think about dual tanks. do you think it would work? i know duratrax tryed it and it did not work. but maybe with two bigger tanks it would. just a thought.
