I'm at the balance and control throw set up stage on my Ziroli Corsair. Any advise on the best throws and Futaba computer mixing set ups would be appreciated.

Engine - Q75XL
Robart retracts
Flaps
Futaba 9c radio

Thanks,
Dave

Dave ...Have same set-up as you have including Q-75....now 5 yrs old and 170 flts later still handles like a Cadillac....For starters set-up the elevators on Dual-rate....3/4" high and 1/2" low ...I use the 1/2" travel most of the time now... Ailerons initially set to 1" up and 7/8 " down...I now am using 1-1/8" up and 1" down... I will use flaps for T/O occasionally and put them @ 15 Deg for T/O and 45 Deg for landing.....Mine weighs in @ 33lbs..and basically does a "Grease Job" almost every landing...alot of that due to being a solid and stable airplane....My CG "Finally" ended up @ aft limit area ...but start at the Fwd limit ...make sure its balanced with gear retracted......this plane has a "huge" wing area and handles superbly....Just keep turns on climb-out and approaches to landing less than 30 degrees...leaves a nice window for margin of error.....I assure you you'll have a blast....Bill...

Thanks very much Bill! Did you program any aileron-rudder mix or do it manually? I have a notorious lazy left thumb.

Didn't I also notice a post from you about purchasing one of Jim's 100" Corsairs? I have kit number four en route somewhere on Greyhound now.

Dave....Didn't order one yet.......only mixing I did was with full flaps mixed in 1/16" down elevator....F4U turns nicely with light use of rudder in turns....Bill....
