Sammy has informed me that my 33% Yak has arrived and ready to be shipped. Unfortunately, I will be away on vacation the next couple weeks. I will start the build thread here when I return the first week in January. I have attached some pictures of the plane before it left the factory. I will take more when it arrives. The cowl was left unpainted (I will be doing a custom paint scheme). However, the production batch will have painted cowls.

I will be using the new 3W80 Xi. I ordered one from my LHS about 3 weeks ago. I called Aircraft international, and they are now on backorder until mid January.

Thank you. You have understood why i was asking about the color. But ok red is better I think. Do you what hardware is coming with the plane? Are there wing, stab bags? Are the wing and stab tubes made with CF? what about the tailwheel?

The stabs use a tube. There are screws that secure the horizontal stab in place. This makes the stabs removable if necessary for transporting. I will be leaving for vacation Sunday the 18th. I will post plenty of pictures when I return the first week in January.

I have one also. The servos mount in the stabs. They included extended servo arms for these with the plane. If you go to their website you can download the manual which has photos of the stab.

Does anybody actually have this plane yet? if so I'd love to see some pictures. Do the wings recess into the side of the fus. (thus a round fus instead of a flat none scale one like aeroworks is building) I have a 3W75IUS looking for a home. This could be the plane. Currently fly and 87" EF Yak. Love it. Hope they are built in the same factory as the EF yak

I recieved an e-mail from Sammy today with the specs. He said the wing area was 1755 sq " I just looked at the website and they list the wing area at 1540 sq " I hope the 1540 is a mistake and it's really 1755
