Another trick is to put a small amound of vasaline on the hinge, then hit it with the heat gun for a couple seconds, the vasaline melts into the hinge. when it cools it turns back into a gel and won't run out of the hinge. I've had good sucess with Pacer hinge glue.

At least you have one. I'm trying to order and having no luck. But then again I refuse to pay the overinflated shipping charges from Chief.

Neo, call Schneider National Trucking and see if you can get them to pick it up at Cheifs. Make sure you know the city and all first before you call. They picked mine up at Sammys and dropped it off at my friends business in our industrial park. (the drop off location needs to be big truck friendly) anyway, the price was $110.00

here is the number for Schneider 866-419-0650 I spoke to John at ext. 4023

good luck

John

On the contrary, you shold hope it comes down to that cause it's a great price and you must know somebody that has a business that they can deliver too.

It was so simple. cheif can't come close to that price. Mainly because they are delivering right to your resdence so in involves the trucking company hiring another company with a smaller vehicle to pick it up and the trucking terminal and then deliver it to your home. I cut out that last guy. I think cheif is located in Grants Pass OR. Check it out

Or you can order one dirrectly from Sammy. they have different, cheaper ways to ship. I forget what trucking company they normally use, but you will have to pick it up at their terminal. Or maybe he will send it by Schneider like he did for me. He has different schemes than does Cheif. I have the citrus color and love it.

Didn't realize that they deliver to your door, I've got a business recieving dock that I have it delivered to....so I really don't need that.....Oh well. I'll get one from AM or TBM.

Neo, it really depends on what scheme you want. cheif has their own schemes, nobody else has them. If you like mine, (the one next to the swimming pool on the TOC website) then you can get it dirrectly from Sammy, if he has anymore in stock. The fact that you have a loading dock tells me your the perfect candidate to have it shipped by Schneider National in the big crate.

just trying to help you, I won't say anymore

John

NP.....I do appreciate the info.....don't take it the wrong way. I was looking for the Checkerboard on the nose and wingtip design. That's all. Been scrimping and saving for this one, just a little frustrated I can't get a hold of anyone or find them without having to pay through the nose for shipping. I'm keeping your suggestion for last resort right now.

Thanks Again,

Neo
