Mine looks more reddish and is the ultracoat flame red color. I wanted mine to have
more of a hint of red.

Not sure what options he has in stock John. You might want to give Sammy a call. Of
course, you can also have any custom color or scheme done. However, that would take
longer and cost more.

The aileron-servo linkage assembly is fairly straightforward. Attached is the stock hardware that comes with
the plane and the assembled linkage. Each aileron requires two servos.

Chief sent mine out Tuesday by freight to east Texas. I have no Idea when It'll get here or what condition It will be in. The Idea of it being shipped by freight is worrying me.

I doubt it, I believe the box is 75'' long, 35 wide and 24 high, do you have 75 inches of room?

yours must be coming into Chicago?

Carroll, the idea behind shipping by freight is so your plane doesn't get busted up, why are you thinking the oposite? Everything will be in boxes and then packed in a shipping crate. This is the safest way to ship. They could ship each box individually with fedex or UPS but there is a much higher chance there will be damage. Mine leaves the warehouse on Monday, I'm really happy it's coming freight.

Brian,

The crate didn't fit in the back of my 4-runner. However, when I removed the
individual boxes from the crate, everything fit just fine. The shipping company
charged me $25 to dispose of the crate.

Never had anything shipped by freight. I guess I'm just nervous because I'm so use to UPS.
Your probably right about it being safer with the freight companies. A friend had a QQ 85" Yak delivered by UPS Tuesday. The box looked like the truck ran over it. The fuse was broke in half!
Shipping anything these day's just make me nervous about receiving it in one piece.

Carroll, unless they stick a fork right through the crate, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. These are by far the BEST packaged planes I have ever seen. Every major component is wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic, then placed in custom made boxes, and then the boxes are placed in a wooden crate. No need to worry in my opinion. We have had 6 or 7 delivered to our Forward Air terminal here and not one even had a bit of crate damage. It's like Christmas opening up that big crate!!! Craig
