Shipper wasn't Forward Air and as far as having a choice on shippers, I wasn't asked, just told by Chief that UPS wouldn't take due to size and freight was my only option.
I work for a large Hospital and I know how freight handlers can destroy a well built crate by means of a fork lift. Luckily the damage will be easy to repair.
A friend of mine received his 85" QQ Yak by UPS and it was broken in half! Since 1988, this is my first plane damage so I consider myself very lucky.

Sammy got back with me on the c.g. information. The C.G. of the 33% Yak is 7 and 1/4 inches
measuring from the Leading Edge of wing root. This will put it on the center of the wing tube. A
manual is in the works.

Looks like my Saito 450 would fit nicely inside the cowl....or, I could put in a BME 110. What do you think?

I guess I figured out why the 8611s move slightly when they chatter. They have such
a narrow deadband and are always trying to center. I even hooked up a new 8611a to
my 4.8 V 3000 ma nicad without a servo arm on it, and while sitting on the table it had
an occasional chatter with a corresponding slight movement.

I must of got lucky with my 8611A's none of them exibit the jitters...but I have seen that in the 8411's and one 8611 on another guys plane...im not sure but I think you can send them back to have the dead band widened

If its not right, dont accept it..

Jitters

I have 1 JR8411 that when my Servo Tester was on her showed a extremely tight dead band. On the Elevator she will when powered up move back and forth like she is vibrating. If you either hold her or make a elevator input it goes away. In flight the Air-load stops it and yes they will fix it for free.

Mu2driver,

It is not a lot of movement, just an occasional very slight movement when
the servo chatters. What battery are you using? Like I mentioned, this even
occurs when the servo itself is hooked up to the receiver without the load of
a control surface and no extension wires. Seems to be a characteristic of the
servo.

Ian,

What you are describing sounds like an oscillation. I experienced that with my 8411s after
putting over 100 flights on them. Whenever I would flip the prop, the aileron servo would
start to oscillate. When I touched it, the oscillation went away.

However, what I am experiencing with the 8611a is not an oscillation, just an occasional very
slight movement once every few seconds or so whenever the servo chatters.

Columbo I use Fromeco batteries and Regs...all mine run on 6v with No Jitters...DO not accept this if you are concerned...

Out of 20 servos I dont have one that jitters...so I know its possible..

This was the norm on the 8411...all you need to do is send it back and have the dead band widened...

Ian is right, most of the time the jitters will stop in the air, but as soon as you land you will notice it, I dont know about you but things like that are annoying..especially when everyone that sees it will question it...

I'll put a current meter on it tomorrow and see how much current they are
pulling when they chatter. As long as it isn't a current issue, I can live with
it. It could be because I had a freshly charged battery without a regulator.
I did notice that after a while the movements and chattering started to settle
down. However, you would think a 4.8 volt battery wouldn't have that effect
even if it is fully charged.

I had my regs set at 6.55 volts by accident and didnt have that chatter...

Like I said its totaly up to you, if you want to live with it that is your choice...im sure it wont hurt anything..my 8411's were pretty bad...
