hi all could anyone tell me if i need to fit a fan on my LRP QC2 ESC if i run a 7 turn motor . JUST WORRIED ABOUT ALL INFO ON THEM OVER HEATING AND CATCHING FIRE thanks

basically you should use a fan always -no matter what the specs of the ESC are. a fan is very cheap, it will last a long time and it is an excellent investment since you will gain both performance,reliability and extender lifespan out of your ESC. if the climate in your area is hot, don`t even think about it! mount a fan and relax

you can use any small [25x25 or 30x30] fan. yes, you can find them at radioshack, at pc stores [motherboard or vga cooler fans], or at any electronics shop. most of them are dirty cheap: 2-3$ each, so don`t get ripped with prices above that! [i`ve seen novak ESC fans for 20-30$ ]
