Status: offline 		I had the 35 with the gear driven tail, and that sucked bad...
but it had lots of power to hover all day long. (still learning)


The 36 seems very sturdy and solid, but there is hardly enough power to lift off the ground.
As soon as it gets 4-5 feet and loses ground effect it falls back to earth and bounces off the ground.

This is at the full power setting. It just cannot maintain RPM's. They droop with increased pitch.

I am very familiar with the pitch adjusment knobs, and have been experimenting lots but have come to the conclusion
that the motor is not providing nearly enough power. At best with LOTS of tweaking and a fresh battery, it can maintain a 1 foot hover.

I have a good charger, (watt-age ac/dc lithium/ni-mh/ni-**) Have 3 healthy batteries. Any help is appreciated.

Status: offline 		What kind of battery you used? Lipo or NIMH battery? You should consider the brushless motor for the No. 36 helicopter (Brushless Motor). If you use the NIMH battery, try change to lipo battery - 1800mah size or up.

Status: offline 		For the W#36, BL is the way to go. If you have good head speed; 1, you can up the throttle trim a little to the center, that will increase your throttle curve a little. 2, set your blade pitch to about +6 to +7 at your full throttle with the left pitch knob, too much +ve pitch will bog down your stock motor and heats up very quickly (well it gets very hot anyway).
