Things are coming along nicely. I have the cowling mounted, I thought that it was going to be tuff but proved to be pretty easy. The hardest thing on this build so far has been the canopy.

Basically all I lack is the wings and just assemble, I took them out of the shucks toady for the first time. They should go pretty easy. Here is a few pics of my progress.

I've been out of pocket for the last month and have not worked on my edge . But i should be back on it this week and will get some more pics posted as I progress.

I am using a DA 100 but i have not glued the fire wall in yet. So I havnt done any of the calculation's for stand off's yet. But I was planning on using a J-tech motor mount.

What it boils down to is; you get what you pay for.

Then you made the right choice.

personally, I'd rather get more value for my money. I've learned in most things you can save a dollar now, but have to spend $2 later.

If you didn't put a smoke system into an Aerotech 35%er, is 27 lbs. a pretty reasonable target weight?
