the stx comes with green or yellow rims, the sv comes with chrome rims. anything with a 12 mm hex will mount just may need to do a little fixing to make them work 100% since the redcats have a big offset, i put chrome rustler rims on my tsunami and white rustler rims on my tornado sp with wider not taller tires.

fail safe- http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXHLV3&P=ML
aluminum upgrades you can get fron a redcat dealer or redcat racing website
http://www.redcatracing.com/ just call the # on the site and Robert will help you. To up grade use HPI savage for some parts like 17T clutch bell and traxxas 4146X clutch spring. Use tutorials on rc universe redcat support forum. Redcat also has hump pack and purple shocks ,use 20% nitro at LHS(local hobby shop)

Wow, this thread is awesome. I was able to "repair" my clutch spring (after one tank of fuel) with the info on this thread. I ran my Volcano SV for the first time Friday...what a Rush! If it wasn't for you guys I would not have known what to do when she quit running. I have ordered the replacement clutch bell and spring which should be here some time next week. My wife said she would not find this fun at all...running and fixing...I told her it is a "guy thing". Totally cool. Thanks again.

maybe its running to rich or the idle is too low. factory is 2 1/2 out on the high and flush with the collar on the low.

not much, only when your accelerating and driving, you should see a trail of blueish smoke.

I went out today and let it rip.
I had a friend with me. He tuned it for me. 1 pull and the thing is purring like a cat.
I had a great afternoon and the truck was flying. Nothing broke but i did lost the 2 screws holding the exhaust in place.
of curse those where the ones i did not loctite.
I was impressed with the speed of the truck.
