yes, it is a good helicopter, for a pilot that can hold a good tail in hover with a FP heli. once an align 420LF and an align ESC are installed into the heli it flies pretty well, but, it's much more expensive, and breaks easier than a walkera #4, which, is probably the best first pilot training heli to fly. the 36 is a 3D trainer, but if you can master the #4, then the 36 would be a breeze, and, you shouldn't have to worry about a new shaft/ new blades every time you crash as the high head speed and large inertia of the rotors can damage the heli a lot more than the smaller #4.

The choice is yours though, just make sure you do HEAVY research into the best heli, find the right size, then find a choice of ones that fit your budjet, next research all of them and elimiate the ones that others have found are rip offs. then once you get yourself set on ONE heli take a week and research it heavily. If it's still what you want, then it's time to get it.

yes, if you want to get a 3D trainer, if you are wanting to get into heli's though, I'd look to a less complex heli to learn on, such as the #4, once you get a brushless motor on your 36 it flies like a champ. It's really a pretty good heli but it just costs more to wreck, oh, and believe me, everyone who gets into heli's thinks that they'll whizz though the learning part and be flying 3D in a few weeks, I admit, I did as well, but serously, once I get a GOOD new battery (the old ones croaked, but, I think I did short them...) and finish getting confortable with flying head and sides in ON THE 36 (I only fly head in on the lama) it'll probably be 4 months or 20 or so more hours before I even THINK of trying it out upside down.

here's what you should do:
save up $150 for spare parts plus the costs for a #4

buy the #4

learn all orientations on the #4 and learn to do circuts/ figure eights even in slight winds/ test if you really want to go deep in heli's

if you still want to continue after all that training, get the 36 with an align 420LF and 35A brushless ESC, get comfortable with it in CP mode then it's time to try upside down and have fun, if you really like the hobby at this point, get a better heli and become a stunt pilot

if you relize that you're never going to go deep into this and just want to fly it for kicks when playing with the #4, buy the esky lama 2 and have fun in your living room.

Hi all

Can someone perhaps help me with a link where I can download the Usb software for the FMS simulator. I did try to download the PPjoy but the link is down.
