I don't believe in Re-sale... I buy, I keep. I swore this battery was big bucks Feb 2005, but maybe I'm wrong... Espirit lists it as $205.00 right now, so who knows. I agree with you, it seems like a waste, but it's a waste just sitting there too. I thought about using it to run an electric starter for my planes, but that's an application where it's being picked up and dropped all the time, so I don't think the battery would be very durable there. Thought about a 600 sized T-Rex, but that thing takes 22V??? Believe it or not, there were no over-charge boards in this battery... I'm planning on using the Triton on these batts that I make, and plan on wiring the TP conversion for cell balancing. I'm not sure weather I want a TP or Triton Balancer, and weather the balancer will keep the batteries from over-charging??? Somewhere in the back of Fly-RC Mag, is a company that sells all this stuff. I'll be darned If I can find it though - they sell cells as well. Again, looking on Thunder Power's website, they show a battery conversion for older batteries to convert them to charging with cell balancing. Their illustration shows the wiring directly to the cells, not to the circuit board, so maybe the cell balancer keeps over charge / spiking to a minimum??? Hope I don't burn my house down... Guess I'd better empty out that 5 gal clay pot quick for charging / storing these things!!! MPB
