Status: offline 		Hi Mike, I am trying to select some servos for my Goldberg Ex-treme 330 ARF. This is a 40 size fun fly plane (profile fuse). I will be using an O.S. 46FX. I would like to have around 60 oz/in of torque. I was thinking about either the HS-225BB or the HS-545BB. I would actually like to use the HS-225BB because of it’s low weight (total weight of the plane should be about 4.5 lbs).

If I use four 225BB and an HS-81 for the throttle, I could save about 4 oz over standard size/weight servos. Would it be appropriate to use the 225BB in this size plane?

Status: offline 		If it has large control surfaces like a typical fun fly then I would suggest metal gears in the 225 or the standard servo for durability. The 545's will give you better centering due to the 5 pole motor but the 225's are faster.
