I just put up a new web page documenting the construction of a Ziroli P-38 during the past 18 months. Here is the link:

glad to see you back up and running. I like the new site better. Ever give anymore thought to producing a construction cd and selling it? I still want to be first in line.

As far as producing a cd, I certainly have enough raw material. I don't know how to do it, but I'm sure there is software out there that would make such a project fairly easy.

Do any of you know of such a package?

If you have a cd burner in your computer just burn your pics to a cd, that would be good enough for me

What I do is use Adobe acrobat full version. you click on file then import then choose image. you select all the pics you want and click ok and it does the rest. I use it to grab websites like yours up and create it into a PDF file for burning to cd in case a website goes down. I use it for all the walkaround sites I come across too. would be perfect for what you want.

Larry nice articals on the P38. That might be my next project , If I can get the two Platt Zeros done. A couple years ago I built the 80 in.0v10 Bronco and after adding up the amount of Y connectors I went with two recievers, I am not saying this was better. It just simplified things a little bit. Was their a reason that you just used one reciever.? I like the gyros setup. I have seen two P38 that lost a motor, and you just don't have much time to react. The gyros might give you the time you need.
Thanks Rich

Hey guys,
Thanks for the good comments and ideas on how to create a cd. We have the full version of Acrobat at work and I'll have the guys copy it to my laptop. Stay tuned...

Regarding two receivers - if I were doing this again I certainly would use two receivers. There are three servos servos in each boom and two outer wing servos that would not have to be routed through the wing. The downside would be that each side would be separate and if you lost a receiver, you'd loose control of an entire side. Cross connecting would involve even more routing problems. Of course if lose the receiver now, I loose everything. However, I haven't lost a receiver in flight in the last ten years, using two does make a lot of sense.
