i went to cutting-edge yesterday to check it out. it is huge. so incredibly nice. i have been to tons of tracks, this is by far one of the best tracks in the country. the track is shooting for an opening on march 1. they will also hopefully be the host of the worlds, along with other big national events.

orangesword: i'm going to guess that with the other 3 tracks around town that there would be to many for the turn outs. plus it's an indoor track and nitro fumes would have to be evacuated some how, and that can get costly. but thats just my thought so i maybe way off..

well nitro is not alowed but like e-maxxs arnt allowed cause from what i under stand is the the track is kinda soft and the owner dosent want it to get torn up.

I just received an email from Mary Wolfe at the County Parks and Rec’s, hopefully some people who are off-road supporters will show up and defend the Silver Bowl track or and least have some say in getting them to water it. I am going to see if I can get the evening off to head down there. I hope some people will show up.

We will be holding a public meeting for all interested Remote Control Car Track enthusiasts on
Wednesday, February 16th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm in the Sunset Park Administration building conference
room.

Spread the word

Good luck with the meeting. On Sunday (tomorrow), I plan to be a Finishline around 10-10:30am with a few other locals if anyone wants to drop by. I'll be running my Kyosho 777 and Mugen mbX5. I don't plan to take any minis.

Cool man! I've never been published before!!

I enjoyed meeting you today as well, and I look forward to Saturday. I probably wont race, but I'll be there anyways. Man, I may have to get a buggy....so much faster than my Revo!!

Thanks,

Tod

man every time i go to hobbytown.......never have any of the parts i need. yesterday me and two friends went in looking for some stuff. They had THREE people on one car. how many epople does it take to check an esc to see if it works? i waited like 10-20 minutes for someone to help me and the once they did bam didnt have the parts i needed. Go over to hobby people.BIG difference two people working on one car. i walk in instantly.. you need something? uhh yes some 35 weight shock oil and some tire glue and wth gimme one of those batteries for my rc18t. hands it to me you check out there. then he aks my other friends . THEN goes back to helping the other guy with his car. then we cruise the rest of the store for other little things they have. we walk outside and there he is driving his nitro ask him questions he gladly answers them much better at hobby people than hobby town usa. ive also had a really good experience with danseys.

hey man i remember you, i was the one working on the car because im the only one who knows how, the other guys do hover around anytime thers a car here. they have to ask my almost everything. im sorry about that. and for parts my manager only cares about helis. so i have to do the best i can on filling out special order forms for ever single part thats needed in the store. for every car. then its a matter of time until they actuly get orderd, then however long it takes to get here.
