Bigedmond, I numerous "electric" guys who run nitro since more people currently tend to race nitro here; however, they will run electric again. And numerous "nitro" guys I know have already purchased electrics in anticipation of the new track opening. Basically, most "racers" will probably run electric when the temps return to 100F. After all, who wouldn't prefer to run in A/C.
mixrider, That is probably a wise decision or at least wait and see the type of classes if one wants to race.

TNB, did you ever race ar RC Fever??
I bought the electric because i knew i was going to want to get one. The main reason i picked up nitro was for the run time, and now that electric can get pretty close, it was time to get another buggy. Either way, 1/8th buggy or truggy are the next item on my car buying list.

On Saturday, I may drive out to BC and watch some of the racing. I still haven't received the replacement part for my transmitter and really don't want to tear apart to RCs to swap out transmitters and then have to do everything all over again.

I was going to go saturday, but a friend that i just found out owns a inferno, and a revo that goes to finishline is going sunday, so i changed my plans.
Looks like i might be getting into 1/8th racing sooner, since the losi 1/8th buggy rumor was confrimed today, and they are hoping for a mid summer release. So ill hope for it by october. That buggy will get me in the game faster.

When in BC, I usually stop by the Museum Hotel and eat lunch. Just look me up at the track if you want to go--Either hanging around the buggies, taking photos of the track, or near my Ford Expedition with the RCU sticker.

The weather was nice, the company was good, and lunch was great. However, I am now a little poorer. After the racing finished up, I stopped by the new hobby store in BC--C2 Hobbies is at 1404 A Nevada Hwy or in simpler terms, near the A&W on the main drag. It would have been ok if I had only picked up some ODonnell 30% nitro, but I had to pick up a nitro buggy to go with it. I know and realize that I probably have more than enough nitro buggies; however, this one is different--it is only 1/16th scale. If anyone is wondering, C2 Hobbies doesn't have any more but the owners plan to get more in soon.

ORIGINAL: nitro power that looks cool did you buy all 3 or were those at the shop? i want to get down there to check it out
Those are all mine, but the two on the outside are Kyosho Mini-Infernos. The one in the center is my new IRC Vulcan "Mini Nitro Buggy". The LHS had 10, but they have all been sold. One guy came in looking for one when I was there but he was too late since I purchased the last one in stock. Another guy purchased one right before I did and the store owner ran it in the parking lot. Freaking hot cakes I guess. Anyway, the store is supposed to get some more in later if you want one. I'll probably stop by in the morning so you can check it out. So far it reminds me a lot of the Kyosho (a good thing in my opinion), except the tires and wheels are larger yet the stock servo is very small.

I was out at BC from about 9:45 am to 11:30 today. Really nice track! I stayed long enough to watch the first two heats, before having to go scratch my itch at Finishline. Took some pics too!
Sorry I missed ya today Tigger. Nice Buggy!
This was the first time I've seen a Hellfire in action, and although the driver kept launching it into the fence , I was quite impressed with it. Theres a couple of Revo pics in there too....The silver and blue one was pretty fast!
