I talked at length to day to Central Hobbies about what the right fuel is for the new dingo this motor is unlike any ys motor prior it requires a low viscosity heli type fuel and high nitro . Magnum fuels is now offering a fuel designed for the dingo exclusively. It is a resonably priced fuel also i talked to the owner of Magnum fuel at length about this fuel . He convinced me it not only runs well in the dingo but any four stroke motor. You can have it delivered to your door shipping included for 18.50 a gallon as long as you order 3 cases or 12 gallons. I didnt want that much but it will last for ever he advised if it is stored correctly cool dry place out of sunlight. I have some coming and will let everyone know what the results are. Buzz the 0wner of Magnum advised he has been working on this blend during the evolution of the dz motor . I found out the hard way about running a high viscosity fuel in the dingo it broke a connecting rod with the 2 gallon of sig heli fuel which is suppose to be low viscosity fuel for helis but it is not correct for the dingo it sputters and has flame outs on the sig. I was hoping it would work because sig is only a few miles from my home and i can get the sig for 15 bucks a gallon for their heli . I feel if this new magnum fuel is as good as they say other club members in my 43 member club who all run four strokes will get some also Regards Bruce S ALtoona Iowa Forgot to mention the new blend by Magnum is around 30% nitro and 20 % oil low viscosity but Buzz says some of his ingredients are a trade secret. His has a desent web site and has some good info their

Bruce,
Powermaster now markets a fuel for the YS DZ engines, both in 20% Nitro and 30% Nitro. This is a Low Viscosity Oil mixture and was formulated for the
DZ engines due to the Lubricating requirements of these engines. Check with YS Performance for additional information. Normal Viscosity Synthetic oils will not give long engine life.
The Powermaster DZ fuels can be used in regular 2 and 4 stroke engines with excellent results also.

Ok Powermaster i appreciate your response i have 12 gallons of the Magnum fuel to use up but am quite happy with it. There was a ys dingo owner inquiring about what fuel to use and your brand was one that was mentioned. I found out about the requirement of the lower viscosity oils the hard way broke a connecting rod on a new 140 dingo and they said it could be due to wrong oil i was using sig heli fuel which is not a true low viscosity oil. Thanks Bruce

How do you identify the new Powermaster fuel? for example, you can generally tell which fuel is in a can by reading the white sticker....

what will the new fuel be called on the can?

Sean, the Powermaster fuel for the DZ
YS engines will be marked DZ 20% Nitro and DZ 30% Nitro. In CA it will be available from Hobby People. This fuel also runs perfect in other 2 and 4 stroke engines.
