Dennis......Is your Heli still Alive? Hope it still is in one piece.

Hartar..... My battery is a Lithium Ion, It is very user friendly.

Zacc........I don't know what to tell you, I fought the rx for too long, and after my third one I am replacing it, I haven't flown yet with my new receiver with all separates, but it is looking good.

Clem......... I think I have my Dx6 all programed and ready for flight, All I have to do is mount the electronics, Any luck on your journey for inverted flight?

........T-Mike, Looks like you better order my blades, I should be flying either tomorrow or early this week You must have forgot that I repair CNC machines For a living, This controller seems to be a breeze. I love it!!!

ace,

do u think its the 9.6v battery pack that cause the problem for the tail motor not to work? I am planning to buy 9.6v 1000mah ni-mh because my lipo was burned-out from over-charging (more than 2 hrs of charging), thank God that it didnt hurt my daughter who is sleeping 2 feet away from the battery. Anyway, still no luck in hovering eversince.

What are you guys using as batteries for the TX? Normal batteries don't seem to last very long and I'm thinking of getting a set of 8 rechargeables.

I've wired up a 12v transformer which I'm using when I fly with a sim, batteries taken out of course.

Did you check the position of the dip switches on the back of your transmitter. If the throttle switch is reversed it will be at full throttle with the left stick(collective/throttle) all the way down.

Demus, I put 700ma NiCads in all my TX's that don't use a battery pack, and I use the Triton charger for everything. Best $130.00 I ever spent... Dennis

Hey Fellas,
Me again. I just ordered my huge list of replacement parts from RCandME and should be getting this thing back together next weekend. I ordered the sim cable from them as well. I think that a little sim time would do me some good. Believe you me boyo, I'll be taking it alot slower this time. I can't afford to continue having $80 crashes. Does anyone have an assembly pic of the 22e. When mine exploded I tried to find all of the busted parts that were scattered all over my shop but may be sissing a few. I think that I found them all but was wondering if there is some kind of bearing in the Upper connector that the Fly bar connects to or does it just teeter on the little screws. Has anyone found a way to replace all the crappy little plastic balls with metal or something. It looks like a real weak point.

My flybar see saw has 2 little bearings in it for the pivot point. Thats the center piece that the flybar goes thru. It's the flybar see saw on my Night Ranger 3D.

Im still learning how to hoover, so it's still wraped around the landing gear. It's always real close to me... One of the guy's had his in a tube, sticking out the rear. That looked pretty cool...

The stock 9.6 is a safe operating voltage, it seems that you can run in the range of 9.6 to 11.1 However lower voltage will cause the motor to pull higher amps, and too high voltage will destroy components a 9.6 will be fine, The 11.1 are said to be fine for the walkera, but I would caution you because the electronics in the walkera are unstable, and 11.1 is on the edge of too high since the walkera rx is cheaply made. But they will probibly work fine. I lost a rx with the 9.6, and a 11.1 so it probibly wont matter using either.

This could be caused as stated before the dip switches, It could also be a problem with the tx, either the 3d switch could be on, or a faulty switch. You cant rule out the rx either.

I got about 5-6min out of the stock 9.6 650ma batt. and around 15min out of the 11.1 1900ma. I think this battery should be fine for a upgrade, I had all kinds of different electrical problems with my 22e, but I dont think It was a battery issue.

I've just found something out which may explain some of your out of your control flyings.

I was just throttling up to take off and then put throttle to off but the rotors continued and the tail rotor started up. Also the rx made a whistling noise. I had to reach under the blades to unplug the battery.

Replacing the tx batteries solved the problem. I'm going to get some NiMh batteries and charge them before each flight.

The TX Batts should last a couple of hours... my 700ma NiCads do... But the 650ma NiMH pack on the VNR3D only lasts 6 to 8 minutes. Thats the cool thing about the simulator. You never run out of fuel, however, the electric heli in it does run down, but you get unlimited stick time on the simulator. I can't wait to put my new skills to use. My thumbs now control the heli without me even thinking about it. What a great feeling !!! Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaa... !!!
