hi folks which servos do you recommend as the best drop in for the 22E blue servos, to get over the non 90 degree issue, apart from switching wires on the POT. That fits the RX and current wise.

I just replaced my front servo with a spektrum digital servo.. It fit after a little modification.. just had to shave a bit off the mount.. It specs out to just about the same as the blue ones.. More torque but just about the same transit speed.. I just plugged it in and its set up the same way, no need to switch wires.. cost about $20 usd at local hobby store.. Nice part is it comes with the correct servo arms, the Hitech doesn't have the arms and you have to switch polarity..

PLEASE QUICK RESPONSE.....

YES I AM SHOUTING...

One of my batteries is bloating as if there is air expanding inside.

I am guessing this is about to explode... or catch fire... I should put it outside
on a brick.

This can't be normal... I have six batteries... four I am using and two in the hanger.
and the one of the six "bloating" is one of the ones I use daily.

When you hold it like a sandwich (cells stack one on top of the other...) it appears to be bloating...
the sides seem normal.
For example you put the battery on a table and the bloating will allow you to spin it like an egg.

Anybody seen this before ??

Thanks group.
R.

Rob, the battery has puffed and it is dangerous if charged. Sorry mate but it is worthless. Did you discharge to far??

JD are you saying the copterx AE has a plastic head. If that is the one you have you might have an old model. Both AE and SE have metal heads and tails.

Philly, for the little 22e the stock servos hold up well.

No discharging... I don't have that capability.
I fly alot... almost every day... not that I am any good.
I work at home so any time I can spin it up I do...

I am currently using a charger called a Mini Smart charger...
But...
These things (batteries) go bad I know... (understand) no biggie.
Good thing I noticed it... we can all see the batteries blow up on You Tube.
