ORIGINAL: cenracer1 sounds like a setup and a bit of inexperience.. All heli's tend to go to the left on liftoff.. thats just the way they are.. I give a little right pitch on takeoff and it goes straight up.. hovers right where I want it to.. any wind will effect the heli, so maybe find a large indoor area if you can.. It shouldn't jump off the ground either.. If it does, your pitch may be off.. I originally tried to use a pitch guage when setting up my Heli, but now I just do 0 pitch at off and around 5-7 degrees at takeoff speed.. its a smooth transition with the pitch.. You can check it with the motors unplugged... I would guess it would go to about 10 degrees at full throttle, although I've never been there yet..LOL A "bit" of inexperiance lol, try no bloody idea ha ha. I'm lucky enough to have 1200 square meters of absolutely empty warehouse to muck around in so wind is no problem, unless I fart lol. Im at no pitch with flybar padle 0-1+, the PIT is set to go 7-8 at max throttle. Ive been using a pitch guage but this seems pointless as it varies after adjusting blade tracking. Swash is set with a level as is flybar, no vibration and balance within a bum hair. Will muck around with pitch a pit more to see if I can get lift at lower rpm but till then more ground skippin me thinks. Thanks also tommis85, I think I am expecting a bit too much too soon. Technicaly an uncontrolled hover IS a flight........isn't it...? lol. Anyhow it aint goin back in the box till it fly's through a battery charge lmao.
