Yea bro Joking
The devil tail looks good. Should provide some more stability. How did you come by it.
Cheers

Hey PhillyD,

Thanx once again - you're a legend!!

Hey question for you Tommyjoking. What sort of paint did you use to adhere to the plastic. It looks like metalic paint, but I 'spose it's not 2-pac or else it would dissolve it?

Tommy.. I like the look of that tail as well.. I made a new one from Carbon Fiber.. also did the vertical fin as well.. Just looks so much better than the white one with the stickers..LOL.. I just painted a new canopy as well.. Needed something that was more visible.. I had originally done one in Candy Purple... and the new one is bright yellow.. I can actually see the new one with my 45 year old eyes finally.. I tend to fly early in the morning or just before dark anyway and the yellow stands out.. the purple one blended into the background.. I used Tamiya Polycarbonate paint.. works great and won't come off.. used a Rattle can.. only painting one color, so no need to airbrush...
Wanted to have one painted custom with an airbrush, but its alot of money for the custom stuff and not worth it IMO... My son wants the one he flies to be painted as well.. Just have to find a place that sells clear bodies, not the white painted ones...

Hey all,

Does anyone know or heard of replacing the pots in the Tx? If they are as dodgy as I am hearing (build-up of dirt and dust etc.) then maybe a higher quality pot replacement would be beneficial - don't know, maybe worth a try?

Hey Smok
Just a little something on paint. I spray painted mine orange with a can of regular enamel with the ball in the can. Tough to get off. I sprayed mine inside but can work outside. Rough up the canopy properly with sand paper. Give 5 coats allow each coat to dry well before putting the other. But then that was one complete coat. Dunno how it will work with design. But if I was designing I will cut around the edge of the design. My paint stands up to insertion of the canopy holder-scratches around the rubber grommet
Cheers

Yo Phil,

Thanks again - just a question, how does the colour come through the white existing paint if you paint the inside? Can you get clear canopys?
