Denjoy:Be more specific about what you are setting up. There are many of us that can help.

Dennis, Well I got my new reciever today, and guess what.... Chanel one for one of the three servos does not work!!! I am getting about tired of these cheap electronics from walkera. I wonder who makes the reciever for the Vnr3d, If its the same or made better. Any way now I dont know witch way to go, I already have been down with no fly time for quite a while, and now it will be longer. Any suggestions?

I am trying to balance blades,check swash plate level,balance heli,check pitch of blades for starters.
I have a Walkera 22E 6 channel TX
Body length =580mm
Total width=185mm
Total height=180mm
Main rotor diameter=550mm
Tail rotor diameter=150mm
Weight counting battery=374g
Motor=370sd
Battery=10.8v 650 mah Ni-MH

All stock at this time.I plan to upgrade batery and motors later. In the Meantime I would just like get a little hover time but I need to set everything up first.

Make sure there isn't a switch in the wrong position, or a knob turned the wrong way first.
Im not setting up anything, im just waitin for parts.

Ace, check this link for a model for FMS. It's a blade CP but it is probably the most realistic for our small birds. I set the wind at 1 and the gust at 3. I still cant go tail out.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_3747357/tm.htm

Also, the new tail blades I got fly off also even with CA applied. I drilled and tapped the original holder with #2 56 threads. 5 flights and it hasn't flown off.
I got a new tail motor and broke it in by running it under water with a D cell battery for 2 hours. It is working better than the other 2 I have gone through.

Like my name?
Mike

Ok, to balance blades, you would loosen the main blade hub Allen screw, and remove the oval links that connect the flybar cage to the swash plate. This will allow you to remove the head, and than use a blade balancer, or like a hanger or whatever to hook in the middle and balance using a piece of scotch tape on the lighter blade. I haven't had much trouble with blade balance with new blades, anyway reinstall the head. After that you can move on to the swash plate, with all trims on the controller set to the center, make sure swash plate is parallel to the ground if not use ball links to adjust till it is level. To balance heli hold it by the flybar with one finger on each side, it should balance pretty straight, if not move the battery to adjust the weight, 22E seems to be back heavy Even with the battery all the way forward. Read the previous pages and you will get some Ideas on balancing, Checking pitch is called blade tracking it also is previous on this forum, check it out and let me know if you have any trouble.

Ace:
Try looking at the posters name!! Only a stupid tigerstop salesman would run an electric motor under water. It's all over run ryder about this trick so I tried it. It is the smoothest running tail motor I have ever had.
