I think what you may find is that Raiden Tech is using "Your" money to pay for planes that have already been ordered weeks or months ago. They wait until you start screaming and then they put someone else off to order your plane.

Hmmm....this sound like the place I work for.

This seems like a typical Ponzi scheme.

Think about it.....if you support a company like this then the ones that are dealing in honesty and doing their best to get your business are hurt, tomorrow you wake up and all you have is Raiden Tech and they don't seem to give a da* n about the customer at all. I don't care how many "Cute" little snoopy planes they make

Now this is obviously a full fledged attempt to FLAME a company that I have used and many others, who I know, have used with NO problems at all! You have said what you think and I don't think it is necessary to continue this sort of flaming! I thought there was a rule against this sort of thing. Plus, there is no way of telling how much of what many of you are saying is even true! Even if you got the stuff "free" you wouldn't do business with them? Such nonsense I don't remember reading in a while! That is your business to buy from them or not, but, I don't see anything, here, that would warrant such complete HATRED to be spread on this forum. I don't know a single company that doesn't have SOMEONE you could find who would say the same thing about them! This just sounds like a feeding frenzy at a companies expense.

I just had Atlanta Hobby do the same thing with me (charge against my credit card and then wait three weeks before shipping and not say a word about it being back ordered)
I now have my order and am happy.

Reporting facts about a company is not flaming, it is providing information to help others decide whether they want to do business with them or not. It's great that you have had no problems. However, LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS, and the nature of the problems is alarming. Raidentech, under their alternate ego, egrandbuy, had a 96.9% rating on eBay. They briefly opened a raidentech id, but closed it when the feedback pattern started echoing that of their egrandbuy id. They've attempted to hide their past by closing out the old eBay ids and opening new ones. This is a FACT. I bought from a new eBay seller and it turned out to be raidentech. Based on current reports, the troubles that people reported on their old eBay IDs are still happening to people buying from their web site. If you're seeing complaints here, you can bet there are lots more having the same problems, but have nowhere to report them. Whether they intentionally or unintentionally give bad service is irrelavant, the fact is they've been doing it for years and potential customers deserve to know so they can make an informed decision.

Edit: The issue of whether to support one's local hobby shop, a full service online vendor, such as Tower, Horizon, etc, or places like Raidentech who merely import containers full of stuff and sell them with no service at the cheapest possible price, is very important to many of us, and the future of the hobby, and needs to be discussed.

If you are thinking of ordering products frome this company let me tell you of my recent experience. On 12/11/05 I placed an order for a Zero fighter 120 sz. I paid by credit card and they sent me a Pre Delivery Notice Fed-EX Item shipped 12/12/05 Estimated arrival date 12/19/05 Item has not arrived as of 01/02/06 The tracking # they give is a pre pick up # which does not work to track your package. I have sent them serveral e-mails to their site requesting info on shipping ... tracking # anythings so I can be assured Item was shipped with NO responce from them. I have tried to contact them by phone you get a busy signal or an answering machine which states leave message and they will get back to you. I have left messeges with my phone # saying to please contact me... No responce.

The Prices are very good, but that is it... No customer care or service... Wish I would have done a little more research on this company before ordering from them... I would have gladly paid more for better service...

Now all hope for is to get the product I ordered.

Just my experience... Hope to save someone else the same hassel... Just some waring I wish I would have had...

If something changes I will post an update...

I'm the one who started this post. I also reported facts on the continued problems with trying to get in contact with them / No email responces / Taking money and holding it knowing items are out of stock.I also reprorted that after getting hold of them they did refund my money! They also told me the Item was back ordered for another 1 1/2 month. That would have been 2 - 2 1/2 months of waiting and they had no intention of telling me.

People are allowed to have their opinion. Tell their experiences with a company. Do I agree with some of the bantering and arguing back and forth... "No". I would rather that people just come and tell their experience.

After I was refunded my Money I ordered from a company called RCGLOW. My Zero arrive in 5 days I saved a few bucks. I'm happy with this company and they will get my business.

If you feel that Raiden Tech practices of operation are proper then feel free to order the 120 sz Zero which I ordered. I never said DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. I stated BUYER BEWARE to WARN and INFORM!

I have no problem with what Bull originally posted. Like he said in the last post, he just informed us of his experience and left it at that.

These OTHER posts, though...

What a brilliant post!
This never ends. Watch...EVERY time Raidentech is mentioned, you will have one of these few guys spewing about it. Always. Seen it before with other companies. Like over on RCG...ANY time someone mentioned Northeast Sailplanes, you would get teh same three guys just spewing venom over and over. Or here about GiantScalePlanes. There ought to be a limit to how many times you can post about how bad a company is.
And you are RIGHT in that MANY of the spewers never even BOUGHT from those companies. I caught a guy at that myself...he was spewing about his awful experience with GiantScalePlanes, and it turns out he belongs to my local club...he does not actually OWN a GSP plane, never did. He just liked to be part of the tiff on the internet.

As for me, my daughter and I are enjoying our little Raidentech sub, it's a hoot, cost almost nothing, and was delivered fast. Along with the RC mouse we got.

Oh, thanks, GERALDO.

"It's great that you have had no problems. However, LOTS OF PEOPLE HAVE HAD PROBLEMS, and the nature of the problems is alarming. Raidentech, under their alternate ego, egrandbuy, had a 96.9% rating on eBay. "

Actually, if you READ their feedback, much of it is bogus. Like the guy who bid on something every week and left them a negative feedback every week, just for kicks? 11 negs from one guy. You would think they would figure out how to use the blocked bidder list! The overwhelming majority of complaints were actually for Raidentech not answering emails. Guess what? For THOSE prices, you don't get your emails answered! The next largest category is people complaining that their $10 toy came in a different color than the one shown in the ad. VERY few complaints were people not getting their stuff.

"They briefly opened a raidentech id, but closed it when the feedback pattern started echoing that of their egrandbuy id. "

No, actually. They got TWO negs. That's it. One for not taking paypal.

"They've attempted to hide their past by closing out the old eBay ids and opening new ones. This is a FACT. "

No it isin't. You have NO IDEA why they might open or close a name. You THINK you know, but you don't REALLY know a thing about it.

"I bought from a new eBay seller and it turned out to be raidentech."

Or it could be any one of dozens of people who do drop shipping with Raidentech or many other companies. The ebayer lists and sells and makes a cut, Raidentech ships.

" Based on current reports, the troubles that people reported on their old eBay IDs are still happening to people buying from their web site. Based on current reports...sheesh. Welcome to the world. You want to pay $75 for a built up model, but you don't want to pay for the customer service to back it up. You pays your money and you takes your chances. Want great customer servce? PAY FOR IT.

"Edit: The issue of whether to support one's local hobby shop, a full service online vendor, such as Tower, Horizon, etc, or places like Raidentech who merely import containers full of stuff and sell them with no service at the cheapest possible price, is very important to many of us, and the future of the hobby, and needs to be discussed."

Are you JOKING? Tower and their ilk will chew small companies up and spit them out. They are big business, the Walmart of the hobby world, pushing small vendors around and dictating prices and such. Twenty years ago, TOWER was considered evil, everybody blamed them for the demise of the local hobby shop. And now you are heralding them like someone who needs to be PROTECTED? Dude...they are a BIG BUSINESS, they can stand or fall on what they do...I have nothing against Tower, they have always been good to me, but it's not a relationship based upon love and mutual respect...they want my money, that's all!
And anyway, you can "discuss" it all you want, but guess what? Old Mr. Hooper's General Store is closed, and there is a Walmart there instead. You don't get much in the way of customer service at Walmart, and they don't give lollipops to the kids like Ol' Mr. Hooper did, but they are a quarter of the price, and that's how it is. You think the hobby industry is immune?

Seems you have selective blindness, their feedbacks are filled with complaints about communication problems, which is a theme in this thread also. It doesn't matter how low the price is, if there's a problem with the sale, the seller has an obligation to respond to emails and resolve the problem. Suggesting that a seller can ignore problems with their products because of low prices is just making excuses for bad business.

AND BOTH COMPLAINING ABOUT NO RESPONSES TO EMAILS!

Right tiger. They just decided it was time for a new name.

Why does it bother you so much that there is a thread pointing out that Raidentech provides lousy customer service? This is a fact, but it seems you want to censor free speech by telling people they can't say this. Go censor someone else.

Nope, it's not immune, but your attempts at censorship will not stop people from talking about the downside of buying from places like Raidentech. Based on your passionate defense of them, it's obvious you are enamored with their sell dirt cheap, take money for products that aren't in stock, provide no service, and ignore customers who receive defective products business model. Other people are not, and they will continue talking about Raidentech as long as they keep doing these things.

Yes, and then Sir easytiger, self appointed defender of raidentech's honor steps in to attempt to slay the people who are merely pointing out the truth, Raidentech provides lousy service. It seems easytiger doesn't like to have people say bad things, even though they are true, about his pet vendor.
