I just recently purchased the blade and have read the wonderful posts that bdavison has made, which I would like to thank for helping me understand the CP. I have the Reflex simulator and practiced many hours before getting my blade and man did it make a difference. The first two Lipos I ran through it I was hovering 3 feet in my kitchen with the training gear on and everything was working great. I charged my batteries and when I plugged it into the blade it glitched like crazy and the servos where going crazy and after about 5 seconds it stopped and the light turned green. So I unplugged it just in case and replugged it in and it went through the lights blinking red then green like everything was ok. So then I proceeded to take off and it spun around in circles clockwise extremely quick with nothing but one notch of throttle. So I checked the gain and it was at about 50% from the factory which worked perfectly the first two batteries and made the tail extremely stable. But after the "glitching" I had to turn the gyro all the way left to keep the tail from spinning clockwise. So the next few hovers cost me some parts because I had to work unbelievably hard to keep the tail from going all over the place. It was like the gyro was working against me instead of helping so for me to have to make that drastic of a change and also with the tail feeling extremely loose and unstable did my gyro stop working or something? Thanks for any help on this and I will call E-Flite tomorrow and see if they know what is wrong.

I bet the tail rotor broke, mine did it about 20 mins ago. I didn't know it was broke tell I set it in my kitchen to try and fly it and it would just spin in circles. I looked closer and one of the pegs that holds the rotor into the gear broke of. I bet that is your problem.

I checked the tail rotor and it is fine. Both pegs are good and I have switched out the tail motors and the same thing is still happening. Thanks for the reply.
