It's funny you should say that.....we are playing around with something that Chris Crews has been doing and he is getting 10-11 minutes. I personally haven't tried it yet but I will soon............

Wow I can belive I missed this thread.

I have been running OPS since I have been in R/C. .21 and .12. I have never had any problems with any of them. They tune slightly different than other motors but tune none the less. In fact I have every single motor OPS had brought out since 99. I have one that sucked dirt, cleaned out and still went on to run 2 seasons on original piston and sleave. Great Motors. Back in the day they had a problem with fuel economy but they changed carbs, shims, exhaust and now the motors get great times. I will put money on any OPS to hang with if not outrun any motor out.

Ive been with Nternational Nitro since day one(check av). So yeah I play favortism but still good motors none the less. Check the pic...my office as it sits right now.

guys more than anything vince ,kyle and peakman will help you any questions you have about the motors , breakdown the significant difference in the torque and power models of the ops motors. the setup of the exhaust and what application is best for your track. you just don't get help like this anywhere a lot of places take your order and rush you off the phone . i don't know about you guys but i am tired of having what every body else have at the track. i want to be on the up of things in the industry thats why i choosed the ops motor , i even sold my brand new crono motor by rb mods on e-bay. far as price , you pay for what you get. awesome performance, fuel economy(pit less), tech support and only one exhaust pipe that sounds like a whole lot for the price of the ops combination. you can say i am satisfied customer thats looking forward to the 2006 dirt season. oh yea i am not sponsored by anyone , just a privateer that loves the hobby.

OPS make all their own parts including the one of a kind, fuuny looking carbs.

And yes... the new ones are called Speedters.

I happen to have a video which will be posted on our site once I get set up with high speed internet. It happens to feature the first 3 or 4 laps of an A-Main where you can see an OPS take the lead and then pull some space on the straight. And I know that this guy is smooth and faster than me, but he don't pull the trigger as hard as I do on the straights.

Look For Video Soon!!

mgtman more of to fast for the track i'm at.

way over kill just like your RB motors and your novarossi motors.
i don't get the name motorman for no reason.

i have had and tuned many motors in my old age.

i have the older one right before the Speedters.

some time you can have to much motor for most tracks.

not sure how new you are MgtMan to Nitro but some time u can run a RG at some slick tracks and run better times with a RG than your RB C5BB.

VB is a nice guy and kyle too.

here are the things you need to look for in a motor.

RUN TIME
HOW WELL IT HOLDS UP
CAN U GET HELP TUNING IT FROM THE PEOPLE YOU BOUGHT IT FROM
PIPE
CLUTCH SET UP
FUEL
PLUG

TRACK BIG OR SMALL
ROUGH TRACK/ SLICK TRACK

SOMETIME U CAN Have to much power meaning wheel spin.

dibs

you guys are going way overboard with comparing the ops motor. pretty much all said and done for a little under $400.00 you will get an awesome motor and exhaust combination that will run with the rbc5on top end (until the end of your tracks straight-away short or long)and the torque coming out of a corner like novarossi p5 modded or better . the motor and pipe combination is very adjustable to your track situation. the best bang for the buck is ops . now check the prices on a set up like that any where else and see what you pay . don't forget customer service priceless.

Motorman...No problem on the carb. I do what I can do to help anyone out in the hobby.

LOL Vince!!! Whats up? Yeah thats alot of OPS motors on my desk and all but 2 have runnning motors in them. OPS forever!! I did a 2hr endurance race a while back on an OPS motor and till to this day that motor still pulls. I think I might retire it soon.

Movie??? What moive is this? Was it the one where I ran down Chad Bradly at Watermellon? It wasnt for the lead but it was funny.

I talked to Kyle a couple days ago, and I might but adding a Speedster to my inventory here soon. We found a track here about 10min from my house. So me and acouple of guys will represent Nternational Nito overseas.

To those that dont believe, we dont expect you to. To be honest, a motor is a motor. Its all in the tune. The most expensive motor aint crap if it wont stay running. Ask anyone that races with me and I run all my motors EXTREMELY rich. Anything over 190 is too hot for me. Unless your a basher you need to be worried about getting a car around the track with out a marshal. If you can keep a motor running, and your car together on the track you will have atleast a top 5 finish everytime. Trust me there have been plenty of races I shouldnt have won but my car stayed together and my car stayed on the track.....
