Looking through the build instructions on the 40% Yak, they refer to a scarf joint for making longer pieces of sheeting for the wings. Maybe a novice question, but I've never heard of a "scarf joint". Maybe it's also called something else?

Also, would you alternate the joints - e.g., one joint is on the inboard portion of the wing, the next toward the tip, etc.?

Hello,

No need to do that on the wing. The top view shows the angle of the Scarf joint.
