Well, Ants, here's a hint that I've found helpful on these types of problems before: I extend the surface with a straight yard/meter stick and eyeball it that way or do it the scientific way and measure the allegedly offending tail surface from a "steady" reference. And die-cutting ain't it! *G*Just my .02 worth.

Spring Air still exists. Last I heard (3 months ago) they were still recovering from all the hurricanes that they had to endure in 2005.

Robart now has air up/spring down retracts if Spring Air won't answers your requests.

Well,........ While waiting for the retracts to come from Tower,....I thought I might start putting the tomcat into CAD,..I am a self taught CAD user using AutoCAD 2000i and at the moment I am have done a couple of plans, mostly Airbourne (www.airbornemagazine.com.au) plans, the Tomcat is startting to take shape in CAD, However I was starting to wonder if it is really worthwhile and If I was to get it laser cut in future, would anyone be interested?, also for all those who have had one of these aircraft and made changes,..what were they so I can design them in CAD and possibly produce it in the future,..but having said that I don't quite know the in's and out's of copyright and don't want to step on Great planes toes,....anyway just thought I would share some thoughts,....

Thanks
JJ
