22E and #4 are totally different helicopters. The 22E is a collective pitch machine, which will be alot more stable than the #4 is. It will crash harder and break more parts, and is more complex to setup, but flies better. The #4 is more unstable, but it's very resiliant to crashes, it's easy to configure and it's cheaper. If you've had experience with collective pitch machines, the 22E (or 22A if you don't want a motorized tail) would be a good choice. If you want to start off cheap and simple (aslong as you don't mind a steeper flight learning curve) the #4 is a great choice. I personally learned on a FP micro. While not for everyone, I think they make the best trainer for the reflexes if you've got the patience to stick with it :). In the end, it comes down to what you personally want from your heli.
