u should lightly lube your bushings on your motor with some 3-1 on the main motor front and back and your tail motor on the front just a 1/4 of a drop.Is it suposed to have any power to it?

With the battery disconnected, the voltmeter should bleed that 1 1/2 volts off pretty quickly. I'll try that in the morning just to see.

I got mine, it flies

I went to undo the screws to use blue locktite, but it seemed my metal to metal screws and nuts had been sealed with something.

Then I went to move the control arms in on the servos to slow down the reaction but the darn things were a bear to get out and I had to use small screws to reattach the arms to the servo horns.

Then I took it up,

Very hot,(high speed head) very responsive, but it tipped over and broke one of the plastic balls off. oh well I put on a metal ball that I screwed on. I think it was the size that fits an EF shogun.

And then I put on training gear (the ones with ping pong balls on the ends) Well I got up and down and burned a battery pack (oh I changed to deans plugs and got a lipo 1350 bat) and hovered about 1 to 3 feet in the living room.

This bird is a little to hot for me in the living room really. I think I will try to get used to flying it outside and see how I like it. When the battery gets low it is a lot easier to control.

I would have to say that it seemed pretty nice out of the box. The locktite and adjusting the control arms were precautionary.

The little plastic ball connectors on the head and arms are weak but with a bag of replacement balls you can just screw them on when the originals break off.

Next weekend I hope to fly out side and see how sweet it is.

But I can say now that it is very responsive and harder to fly than my Shogun and harder to fly than my Sabre. In both cases its because it moves about so quickly. But it is fun and with a little more space it could be real cool.

I have a bout 3 feet wide and 6 feet across so any quick flight in any direction is wall threatening ! HAHA.

i might have a problem, when i crash my heli a while back the wires that connected the tail motor and the main motor came apart. n i noticed one wire is short n one wire is long. which wire would be connected to the main motor and which one to the tail.

Short wire----to------tail
long wire ----to----main motor

or

short wire-----to-----main motor
long wire ------to ---------tail.

Over 20 minutes of hover - or I would say it seemed like 3 or 4 times longer than the stock battery. I know it should only be twice as long but it seemed much longer. I will time it next week when I get home. I'm in NC this week.

With wire ties, they will fit any micro heli. Just wire tie them to the bottom of the skids. Have the center disc directly under the main shaft.

Training GEAR

I got some at helihobby I think they were the blade cp ones. The ones I got did not work, they were made with carbon fiber poles I think with a center hub connecting the four poles with small balls on the ends. Dont get that.

get the ones with like two white long plastic rods with orange ping pong balls on the ends, you use wire ties to connect them. and when the balls get worn out you can go to your sporting goods store or walmart and get ping pong balls to replace the old ones - resecure the new bals on with fuel tubing. You can get these at hobbypeople.net. They are for the showgun.
