well, i im using a blade cp motor right now my LHS said theres really no difference n motors. so i went ahead and used it.
For some reason tho i cant get it more then just 3 inchs off the ground. i tried settin the block head and everything. i dont kno what else to do. Could it be bad blades?

Guildgtar,

It could be if the leading edge is messed up. Or a dying motor or a dying battery.

Buyt I suppose you tried adj the pit / plt knobs.

There is a sweet spot where you have enough head speed and enough pitch.

You should be able to get it to start to lift right at half throttle.

Good luck

Guildgtar,

set both knobs to 12:00 (straight up)

Switch dip switch 8 to the left, unlock.

put the throttle to mid stick or just befor lift off.
Should be either mid or just below mid stick
Then try moving the right knob to the left till you hear the head speed increse, you shouild see the heli start to lift up if not stop when your at 11:00. Then move the right knob to the left. now you should see the heli start to lift. Stop there and try flying it. see if you get good lift. maybe end up around 11:00 on the left and 1:00 on the right knob. You can play with it for fun, turn the left knob all the way to the left and you should see the blades go to negative pitch, the heli presses down on the ground, easy to see with training gear on. Turn to the right and you get positive pitch and the heli lifts up. Go to far to the right on the right knob and you get to much pitch for the head speed and you actually lose lift. So try to maintian good head speed and a little positive pitch. I hope that helps.

nitro K,

my TP 1320 keeps burning up stock motors after two or 4 recharges. But it makes it ballistic and lasts a long time.

I'm about to try brushless with it. i have a walkera 22e (same as NR3D) with a 1900 Mah Walkera Lipo but it doesnt last long or feel very powerful, It lasts longer than a normal battery I guess. I have a normal battery laying around that came with the NR3d I guess I could try it to compare them.

I get my new brushless in two days. Oh boy.
