Status: offline 		Nope, it won't be done for Lehigh. I probably won't be attending that contest, at least as a competitor. We sign the papers on the new house that weekend. I may show up Sunday just to help out judging. But the Yak will definitely be done for the CAPI, and I'm certainly making the trip back to the NE for that contest.

Status: offline 		Well I have been having a hard time getting into the shop this year so I am way behind. Here is my first Yak about done. Hope to get covering on my second one very quickly. This one is set up for ZDZ160 on cans while the other will be a 210 on cans.

Hey rcavi8ter: Is this an arf or did you have to build it. Is the covering Chinakote. It looks pretty. Was it easy to assemble? Thank you

Its not an ARF. We don't manufacture anything 40% in ARF form. They are kits. We can build them inhousein ARC, ARF. Let me know if I can help further.. Oh I will be out of the shop until late Tuesday 7 11.

I see your using a 210. Do you think a Moki 210 would fly this plane? Tuned pipe? Thanks

Status: offline 		A ZDZ 210 is a twin cylinder 210cc gasoline powered engine. A Moki 2.10 is a 2.1 cubic inch glow motor. A Moki 2.10 might get the plane to taxi (on pavement), but I doubt it would get off the ground. The all up weight of the Aerotech Yak is 40+ pounds (depending on how it's built).

John makes a 50cc sized Yak 54 ARF, that a Moki 2.10 might do ok in. You'd have to be sure to keep it really light though.

I bet that Saito's new 220 would work great if you got the plane light enough.

You would need a bigger tank though I heard those 220s are thirsty.
