My digital camera seems to be on vacation (it won't even turn on) so I don't have any new photos at the moment. The canopy is glued down to the hatch, I used all-purpose goop for this. Being a rubbery glue when dry, it seems to absorb a lot of the vibrations and saves wear on the canopy, preventing cracks. The cowl is almost done as well. I bought louvers from Stan's Fiberglass and they very solid. However, the vents are filled with resin, so it was a lot of work with the Dremel to grind it out and open the vents. Also, the cowl was bigger in diameter than the cowl ring, so I ended up taking almost 1" of material off the sides of the cowl to get it to wrap around the ring correctly. And although the finish work on the cowl is pretty good, there were some very large voids from the mold on the front lip that needed filling. I used epoxy and microballoons. I wanted to use the H9 paints (that match Ultracote) for the cowl and hatch, but the paint seems to be on back order from everyone (including Horizon). I'll probably just prime it and fly it until the paint is back on the market again.
