The XFactor seems awsome. The 4 link suspensions is freakin unreal, but the T-Maxx is a great truck too. I know the Savage 21 is really nice, but its sub-frame to me is goofy and it isn't close to the XFactor's real 4 link. Just wondering which is worth buying?

the new x-factor shouldnt really be compared to thos rrucks. Its a rock crawler by design, its like the nitro txt 1. The max and savage are more for go-fast-fly-over-jumps type driving. so is the monste pirate which i own. I want to get an x-factor or a txt-1

Its good to know that some one feels the same as i, about the x-factor. I also am the proud owner of thr MONSTER PIRATE, as will be the X-FACTOR. (will post pics) My opinion of the big X, is that it's a reallistic MONSTER TRUCK, not a beafed-up buggy or an upside-down buggy! HENCE MONSTER TRUCK.

Its true that the X factor have the 4 link like a real MT. But if you see it in person, it really doesn't look like its a good climber. I played with one with my friend. I have a savage, he has the x. My savage has a 7 inch travel on the suspension, the X only has maybe 5. After 5 inches, the opposite wheel starts to leave the ground too. If you want to climb rocks, you want as many wheels on the ground as you can. The 4 links works well on the real MT because it hardly climbs over uneven rocks.

From what I can tell, the Savage is supposed to be one of the best on the track. Definitely worth looking at. You wouldn't be disappointed with the t-maxx either.

I went to this track to check it out about 2 weeks ago. I saw the T-max and the savage race. The savage was wining but not by much. Like I've said before might have been the people behind the radio. It was a very nice indoor/outdoor track.

i will say the only positive thing is that the savage jumps are more stable because of the weight the tmaxx does flip alot but if you want faster the tmaxx is it you wanna jump better get the savage they are the #1 and #2 trucks out there

Check your local hobby stores to see what parts they stock....so when you break something....you can buy it locally....otherwise...you'll be buying all of your parts online.

I'm sorry fella's, I'll say that i'll personally, I'll have have to go or the ek-4, seein' that i have 4 strong+ years exp. . there is a diferance ba'tween the 1/10 & 1/8 scale, no enstein, p.s. my mp does pretty well against the t-amx, and i'm runnin single speed! no wheelies yet, need cvec dual camber pipe, high tourqe servo, and max size rims and tires, thenI'll be pleazed to take any t-maxx on. No intimidation by any chance, allthough the t-max is a very good truck! actuually the Traxxas rustler was my very first r/c stadium truck, 1st r/c ever. P.s. R/C Tech am, e-mail me for Q's name is jack, E-mail.......meandyou622@aol.com

CMO,

Yes it is good to alway be able to buy parts when they break. But... the one thread about "vote on the most parts broken", i believe that was it. The people that had the t-maxx usually had the long list and the people with the savage only had a few things broken.

Good observation there!

You see....TMaxx owners "KNOW" they can get parts easily.....so they drive harder...and break more parts.
